Privacy

This site is made by Jody Hudson-Powell and Luke Powell, London. Here is what happens to your information when you visit.
No cookies. Nothing is saved in your browser except your own choices on this site: the language and theme you pick, and how far you have read. There is no advertising and no third-party analytics.
The site counts visits on its own. When a page loads, your browser sends a small note to our own server saying which page it was, roughly how long it stayed open, how far down you read, and which link you left by. It carries a random id that exists only for that visit and is forgotten when you close the tab, so one visit cannot be linked to another. Your IP address is not recorded by this. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is sent at all.
Our hosting provider, Infomaniak, keeps standard server logs for about a month to run and protect the site. These include your IP address and the pages requested. We keep a copy of those logs for longer-term counting, with the IP addresses removed after 30 days.
We rely on legitimate interests for all of this: knowing roughly how the site is used, and keeping it secure. We hold nothing that identifies you, so there is nothing to send you or delete, but you can ask: me@jody.xyz. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
